Grand Bend IHRA Nitro Jam Recap

Well our weekend at Grand Bend for the IHRA Nitro Jam was a wash. We made one qualifying attempt last night. The car was going well .975 out of the hole and was cruising down but shook down track and I had to lift. It was so awesome to be back at my home track. I am so comfortable with everything there, from the starting line to the finish line I know that track like the back of my hand. I had to put the car into the beams for the first time without Jim out front and it worked perfectly! I can’t thank everyone who worked their butts off to get me to this race, enough. From my dad to Jim, Jon, Mike, Joe, and even Lucas and Evan. The crew help this weekend was awesome also. Dad, Jim, Colin, Mike and Chris you guys truly are awesome! Everything was done top notch, even Sue with her kitchen away from home! Thanks to all of my supporters for helping making my drag racing dreams a reality and a special thanks to Tommy Zarella/TT Motorsports for the wonderful opportunities he has made possible to my team. I’m truly a believer that all of our hard work is paying off! It’s a shame the weather got the best of the weekend. We will try again later! On to Maryland for our next race with the PDRA!
